_______________________________________________________ December 12th, 2008 12:04AM 12/12/2008 I have been really busy the past few weeks, getting ready for the holidays. I'm so sorry for being slow with the blogs.. I have been writing some pieces for the White Crow, too. I am actually working on 3 different articles at the same time, writing a little on one for a couple days, then switching to another one for a while. When I write, it has to flow and I have been under some stress here lately so the words are no flowing like they normally do. I work for a parts supplier in the automotive world and my job is not very safe at this moment and it scares me. I am no spring chicken and neither is my hubby. This was supposed to be a time in our lives when we could kick back and reap the fruits of our years of hard work. We were supposed to be able to eat a meal out once in a while without feeling guilty, take a trip now and then, do some things we had been putting off until retirement. Now it looks like there isn't going to be any retirement for us. I guess we both will be working at SOME job until the meat wagon hauls us out of the place. (But I doubt I will be working at Delphi then.) Just don't seem fair. But I guess no one ever said life was fair. Enough of that.. I have been asked to speak to a paranormal group up north on December 28th. The group is WPIRG and I believe they are a paranormal group out of Wabash, Indiana. I will be talking about my UFO experience, researching the Kokomo boom and my paranormal experiences. It will be interesting. I haven't given a public talk on my personal experiences since I was in England back in the late 1990's. I'm a little nervous but also excited to get back to business. I think I will bust out the old slides, too, in case anyone wants to see them. The group will be small. That might be a good thing, since it's been a while! I'll let you all know how it goes. I have been mildly following the Urban Survival website lately. There has been some talk about a big earthquake expected to impact the everyone, starting tomorrow, 12/12/08. I am thinking that maybe the "earthquake" will be the final gasp, the collapse of the American economic system if (more like when, I think) the senate fails to pass the auto bailout. GM has already hired a bankruptcy legal group. It's not looking good and it feels even worse. Personally, if GM goes under, the town I live in will become a ghost town, our pension will crash and I will definitely be out of a job before my 50th birthday in February. I think about my mom a lot. She died in 2000. Before 9/11, before everything that came after. This country is not the same country. The world is not the same world. I wonder if my parent's could have adjusted to this new world. Sometimes I wonder if I will be able to. I was looking up at the clear, cold sky last night and observed that huge "super" moon coming on. It dawned on me that I had not been outside to sky watch in a couple months. Wonder what I have missed. Mental note to self: NOW is probably THE time to start looking up. I feel something on the horizon. Well, Im getting sleepy and when I am sleepy I start to ramble so I better wrap this one up and start anew tomorrow. Peace. _______________________________________________________ November 25th, 2008 11:08PM Well, I finally have found something that describes what I have become. �Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian. �I really have totally lost my taste for flesh of any kind. �To be honest with you, I doubt that I will even be able to eat any turkey come Thursday. �I'll cook it because that is what everyone wants, but I ain't eating any of it. I have leaned this way for many years but still had a hamburger or some chicken once in a while. Even as a child, I refused all organ meats and wouldn't eat any kind of steak or chops. I HATED way it felt in my mouth and I couldn't even look a prime rib without gagging! In the last few months, I have started to REALLY dislike the taste and TEXTURE in my mouth and I find it nauseating. Since I stopped eating meat, I FEEL WAY better and I SLEEP better and I feel calmer. I just hate what we do to animals and my "heart" just can't do it any more knowing that I can get plenty of good protein from other non violent sources. I probably get MORE protein in me in the form of whey isolate protein drinks, than most of my meat eating friends! It's a way of thinking as well as eating and I feel really good about this decision. I haven't talked at all about the election coming off and what it meant for me. �First of all, I am really glad that it did happen. �I worried. �And I am super glad that Obama won. �I feel as if 150 million people woke up on November 4th and we are finally going to see a light at the end of this tunnel. �It might still be a far piece off but at least it is there. �It feels like an eight year long black cloud has been lifted from my heart. �And truthfully, I am SO freaking glad all the back stabbing and name calling bullshit is over. �Lets just get on with it and leave all the negativity behind. �It did nothing but drag us all down. �It's time to lighten up and start this new era we are heading toward. �Finally, there will be some common sense in the White House. �Nothing can be as bad as the last eight years has been, so that, in itself, is cause for rejoice. Things are looking mighty shaky here on the home front regarding my job. �But there is not much I can do to change it so I refuse to let it tear me up. �Whatever will be will be and I will make the best of it whatever it may be. �IF I love my job, then there must be something in the future that I should be free to do. �Nothing happens by chance. �I can think of a few things I can be doing right now... �:-) I have been busy working, and getting ready for the holidays and writing stuff for the new paranormal newsletter I am helping with, The White Crow. �Those of you who read my blogs and follow me, will find this newsletter fascinating and I will be a regular contributer, along with LOTS of interesting folks, �so you can find more of my musings and observations there. �There is a link to the White Crow website elsewhere on my website so be sure to check it out. My 1 year physical was awesome. �All my blood work came back perfect. �Not bad for an old broad. �My weight is down almost 70 pounds and I am getting closer to goal than I have ever been. �Gotta get myself into fighting shape because in the �near future I will need it! �I have been saying all along that I need to be in top shape for whatever is coming. �So I am doing all I can to get there, asap. Peace Deb _______________________________________________________ November 14th, 2008 9:14PM Round two: History Channel's "UFO Hunters" comes to Kokomo to look at the Kokomo Boom After watching Wednesday nights show, I thought I might share a little with you all. Plus, I haven't blogged in a while and I owe you! As for the show, I was glad to see they used more of the details of the night in question, than the Discovery Channel did. And they got the overall feel of that night more accurate. The timeline was clearer and I am REALLY glad they did use the scanner traffic. I think that is VERY important stuff.. I just wish the ending hadn't been so vague and they had mentioned the radar data. THAT would have tossed a monkey wrench in their F-16 theory. I mean, I don't doubt there were jets in the area. Radar proves that, even though THEY denied it at first. But the radar ALSO showed OTHER STUFF up there with them, doing weird things. I feel the show insinuated that the F-16/sonic boom theory is the only likely one, and I am certain that is only PARTIALLY correct. What about the rest of the story? AND, while we're at it, WHY would an F-16 be flying beyond the speed of sound BELOW 3000 feet in a MOA that forbids such behavior? And WHY would they be shooting off flares over peoples houses? Isn't that illegal? Who should we sue? Their theory also fails to explain the flash of light that I and others saw immediately before the boom. It was bright enough, where I was, to completely illuminate my entire office. The light was NOT white like lightening. It had a yellow cast to it. And was VERY bright. I closed my eyes in reflex, heard the sound and felt the shaking of my seat and my house and my windows and my chest and looked up at the clock. By my office clock, it was 10:24 P.M. I did say a lot more about the sound I heard, which was NOT shown. That sound wasn't a typical Ba-Boom like most sonic booms I have heard. It was just one big ass BOOOOMM! AND I could feel it in my chest, like a Black Sabbath concert! I DID feel there was some kind of personal element in it for me. I had seen these lights 3 other times, and like bait, they lured me out to the park in the dead of night, camcorder in hand. Not ONE ounce of fear in me at all as I stood out there in the dark, under this orange ball of light. Just EXCITEMENT. The fear kicked, once I got home and experienced the blast. I STILL get goose bumps when I hear myself repeat what I told my husband, "Something BIG just happened, something BAD just happened." Frankly, I think that sound test was a huge crock 'o shit. I felt that from the first time they asked me if I would allow it at my house and I said NO WAY. AT the time of the real boom, I was approximately 5 miles from the action and yet I could feel it in my chest. IT rocked my house, and me. The UFO Hunter guys shot us about 138 db from about 50 ft. and it STILL wasn't loud enough, didn't feel the same and the air didn't even feel right. There was like a vacuum feeling in the air, during the real boom. At the precise moment of the sound, It took your breath away and made everything feel strange and heavy... heavy in the chest, just for that moment. Granted, it did crack Diane's windows but it still did not feel or sound the same. Sorry.. That was a big, stinking pile of Hollywood Hoo Haaa... I don't know what science they were using but it sure didn't make good sense to me. And it wouldn't surprise me that one person might think it sounded close to what they heard and yet another might not. We were all at DIFFERENT places in town at the time of the boom. Apparently, Hank, Diane and I were closer to the source than the one guy who thought it sounded right to him. Or maybe his hearing was different than ours. I asked these questions several times while we were out there that day and no one would give me a straight answer. Don't get me wrong. I think they did a decent job. God knows it could have been a lot worse! I have seen, first hand, the kind of butcher job the media can inflict on a person and it ain't pretty. They were good to the people they interviewed, both in person and in the editing room. Bill Birnes is a nice guy who's been around in the field for a lot of years and he was even kind enough to autograph a book for me. It was an interesting experience and I am glad I got to participate. But I would still like more answers than we are getting. And, at this point, I don't see that EVER happening. I am gonna keep hanging around outside, looking up and waiting, camera in hand, and one day I WILL catch one of these OBOLs with my High Definition camcorder and when I do, you will see it here first! More soon! Deb _______________________________________________________ September 4th, 2008 9:14PM Okay you guys, I know I am under a lot of stress right now. My sister, Kathy, had a stroke a couple of weeks ago. It looked really bad in the beginning but now she seems to be making a miraculous recovery. She is out of ICU, out of the rehab hospital and is now home, doing intensive rehab on an out patient basis. We thank you all for your prayers! They are working and are deeply appreciated! My job is not stable right now. The company I work for filed for bankruptcy and now it looks like they might not make it out. They can't find the financing they need. Liquidation is looking more and more like the possible outcome and that will likely mean I don't have a job. The consensus is that the plant will probably close in the next few months which means I will be out of a job. With hubby being retired, we depend on my income as much, if not more, than his pension.. Losing this job will have a negative impact on my way of life, for sure.. My weight loss has come to a stall After having the band surgery and losing 63 pounds, it seems I have hit some kind of plateau and I m not liking it. Maybe the stress is effecting that, as well. I still want to lose 45 more pounds and I ain't getting it done like this! This bothers me. Even though the surgeon says this is normal, I feel like I am failing. And I feel fat and funky right now... I'm concerned about the state of the world right now. Concerned about what our government is doing in Iraq, in Iran, Pakistan, what Korea is doing.... I am concerned about the election in November. It's starting to look more and more like a Jerry Springer episode and not a nation of responsible adults. I don't have a good feeling about any of it. I have a feeling that no matter WHO gets into the White House, the downfall of America has, perhaps, already gone past the point of no return. Collapse is a distinct possibility and not something I don't like to think about. Stock up on water and ammo now! Have you noticed the dramatic upturn in earthquakes? Mother Earth is pissed at us and must be trying to shake us off like a flea that is biting her.. Global warming is real, people. How may ice shelves have to melt, how many hurricanes will it take for you to see what is right in front of your face!?? WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!! We are KILLING this planet and don't seem to realize this is the ONLY one we have to live on and NOTHING lasts forever! If we can't take care of the gift (this planet, life) we have been given, then we don't deserve it. We have become a selfish, greedy, destructive virus on this planet. Geez, now I know what they mean by "ignorance is bliss" Sometimes being smart and aware, sucks. All this, and more I haven't gone into here, might explain the things that I have been thinking about lately. That, and this wicked sinus headache I have been fighting. (Mold spores are EXTREMELY high in my area right now and that is my WORST allergy.) So here, I submit to you, for your consideration, or entertainment, whichever you prefer, my latest "visions".. And let me warn you know... If I see this in a Sci Fi movie or book somewhere in the future, I will sue you for millions.. Be prepared to share.. (hehehe, oh yeah...) Something about the CERN particle accelerator is bothering me. I know that we have other ones here now that are working and nothing bad is happening (that we are aware of... maybe the ARE having some effects like facilitating the increase in UFO sightings and ghost sightings, and making politicians act crazier than ever!... ) BUT, none of them are going to ever go as fast as this one is slated to eventually go. I know that the smartest minds in the world say there is no way it can ever harm us. But a lot of OTHER really smart people say it can and will. Who should I believe? I don't think EITHER group is 100% sure of anything. And anything less than 100% just won't work for me. It has been on my mind for weeks now. And I have had some "visions" while at work.. when I do my best "seeing", while listening to my machines hum and lull me into that altered state of consciousness. I don't think we will get vaporized by some artificially produced black hole. (But I could be wrong...) I DO feel as if this thing is going to tear a huge hole in the fabric of the space/time continuum, that stuff that separates the living from the dead, the 12th century from the 21st. I feel as if there will be a scrambling of realities. The other dimensions will become visible and a whole lotta folks ain't gonna be able to deal with that. I believe there are many dimensions and many realms that coexist along with us. I believe that when we die, the essence of what we are, our energy, goes to one of those other realms. Heaven, if you choose to call it that. Or hell. But I believe there are barriers to each of these existences. And we are about to jack a huge hole in one or more of those barriers. We might piss someone off and we might open ourselves up to attacks by other entities more savvy to the realms than we are. Life here, or for that matter, everywhere, could get REALLY weird. When the Bible says "the dead will rise" is this what it was referring to? Because if the veil is lifted, the fabric gets a hole in it, they will be able to come back here, in this reality, in this dimension. Energy will get scrambled and that can't be a good thing. Maybe it will start slowly. A small tear. A few anomalies will appear. As the tear progresses, the events will become more frequent and widespread. Until eventually it will get totally out of hand and life here will get REALLy weird. Scientists will be working on electrically charged "nets" (for lack of a better way to describe these things I see) to catch and contain "stuff".... You get the picture.. Weird.. I know. Believe me.. I know how crazy it sounds. Perhaps this is all the produce of an active imagination that is already stressed out. That is certainly a possibility and I don't argue that for one minute. But I am throwing this out here, like I said in the beginning, for your consideration or possibly your entertainment. You decide. "I'm just sayin'........" _______________________________________________________ August 18th, 2008 9:14PM OMG! I am so tired! I was up late all weekend long. I am getting too old for this! The conference was pretty good. I believe Jerry Seivers, Indiana MUFON Director, said he thought it was our biggest turnout ever. Yeah! I was hoping for a good turnout. I actually expected more people would come, but al in all I think 60 was a good number. Especially since the room only held 80. Crystal's alien heads and Reese's Pieces cookies were a big hit, as was my home made zucchini bread. (made from zucchini grown in our garden!) We had several interesting speakers and I was pleased that we were able to allow the audience to hear the ScanKokomo audio files. Honestly, to me, those audio files are like little smoking guns. I mean, they actually say right on there that they are at the scene of the only known debris field. HELLOO.. Doesn't anyone else see this huge red flag? I just don't understand why more people aren't asking questions. Do they not care? I don't get it. I was thrilled to see Jerry Seivers again. Jerry is the State Director for Indiana MUFON. He and I have been friends for a long time. And I love it when my friends are close by. I just hate the goodbyes! I really hope everyone who attended had a good time and felt as if we were able to answer some of their questions. I was happy to get to meet a few of the people I had been corresponding with via email. It's always nice to put a face to the names. I wish I had been able to be more social and talk with everyone more. I would have loved to sit down and have some chats with several people there but I had to keep up with the flow and keep the snacks cleaned up and replenished. That is the tough thing about hosting one of these shindigs. You don't get to have as much fun socializing.. Oh well. I am hoping to get a group together to go to the big International MUFON conference in Chicago next July.. That should be good! The party after the conference was nice. We ate lots of finger foods and sat outside under the stars counting satellites and meteors and we even got treated to an iridium flare. THAT was cool! It was Jerry's birthday and Glen and Crystal gave him the neatest bottle of wine. It was called Red Flyer and it had a UFO on it! How cool is that? Jason did a great job talking about MRIPA and MUFON and the alliance we have formed. Later Rachel told me I was going to get to go on the investigation this coming Friday, with MRIPA. It's a private family residence and there seems to be a lot of what sounds like poltergeist activity. And sounds like there might be some unpleasant entities hanging about. I am REALLY excited to get asked to come along, The Okie Pinokie investigation, (part 2) was postponed in order for us to be able to help out this family. I hope we can really make a difference for them. Especially the little ones. I'll let you all know how that goes. Jason still hasn't had a chance to look over much of the stuff from our house. Every time I look at that date, I get a weird feeling, like something juicy is gonna happen tomorrow! Big juicy. I guess time will tell, eh? How cool would it be to be born on that date? I bet some cultures would say you were mystical or something, because of coming here on that date. Something to ponder... Weird things are happening all over the world, and to me...almost on a daily basis right now. AND, not just to me but to a lot of people I know. Wonder what's up with that? I mentioned in a previous blog, that I felt things were going to happen very soon that would change everything. I realize it sounds crazy. I can't say for 100% sure anything will happen. I just want you to know that I felt compelled to share some of my random thoughts with the people who read my blog. I don't know whether it's just some rouge neurons firing or if I am remembering things, or if I am being used as some sort of a receiver, like a radio or TV. All of this could mean absolutely nothing. At the very least, it makes interesting reading material! LOL! And this goes for what I am about to tell you. I know it sounds crazy but I don't know any other way to describe it or what to make of it.. I got a remote view today (08/07/08) at 2 PM. The guy (yes, I could tell it was a male) was wearing black slacks and shoes and a dark grey, long sleeve shirt. His face was a shadow. As a matter of fact, HE wasn't much more than a shimmering shadow and only for brief glimpses could I even see what he was wearing, but I could NEVER see his face. IT was blotted out, almost like they distort things on TV when they want to protect someone's identity. I believe that was the purpose for it in this case, as well. I don't think that burry face was an accident, mistake or result of the state of being. And I could only see him in my peripheral vision. Here's what happened... I was at work, sitting at my desk. Everything was done and I was doing a crossword puzzle, just waiting for the time clock to catch up to me so I could hit the door. As I looked down at my puzzle, I could see something move very close to my left side. At first I thought it was someone coming up from behind, to talk to me, as there was something of a shadow that appeared to block the light to my paper, ever so slightly, or at least gave that illusion. I turned around to greet whomever it might be but found that no one was there. I thought to myself, "Huh? That was strange...Whatever..." A couple seconds passed and I'll be dammed if It didn't happen again! Instead of turning dead on to look, I focused on my peripheral vision, as I have learned that I see WAY more in that, than I do in my normal field of vision. Also, I noted that whatever this was, felt like a person. NOT a spirit. I believe I have been in the presence of spirits and other entities and they have a certain energy "feel". I have also learned, through the years, that I have the ability to sense people's energy fields. Every single person on Earth has their own, unique energy field and it feels like no other. Living people feel one way, dead people (spirits) feel another way and entities that have never lived on this plane of existence have a totally different feel. And within each of THOSE groups, each INDIVIDUAL has their own unique version of that feel. I have always, for as long as I can remember, with each person in my life, been able to sense, and remember their unique energy feel. So if my husband came up behind me, I would know it was him without looking by how his energy feels when it enters mine. Same goes for anyone else I know. (I also get glimpses of their lives and their feelings and what kind of person they are, but that's ANOTHER blog! LOL) When someone I DON'T know enters my field, I KNOW someone is there, but I don't know WHO it is. THIS energy that came to me today was not like a spirit. It felt like a LIVING person's energy. Although it was no one I know. I didn't recognize it other that to know it was human. LIVING human. Therefore, I must deduce that it was someone remote viewing me. I KNOW for a fact that this is possible because I have done it. And I am quite good at it.... at times. Anyway, whoever this was, he leaned down and got right in my face, and I got the distinct impression that he was testing me to see if I could see him. And I sensed a bit of a self righteous, snotty attitude about it, which immediately pissed me off. I don't think he really thought I could do it. Well, I said, out loud but in a low, and I must say, somewhat threatening tone of voice, "WHO THE F--- ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?" The shadowy figure literally leaped back a whole step and more, right out of my field of vision. Their energy pulled out of mine and I could no longer sense them. But I did get that they were TOTALLY amazed, shocked, even stunned that I knew they were there, before they pulled out. Once again, Let me reiterate, I KNOW this sounds REALLY crazy, but I can't deny what happened. And just for the record, I am in great physical and mental health. No psychosis or delusions or paranoia whatsoever! LOL! This incident DID NOT SCARE ME. I felt ANNOYED. IF someone wants to talk to me, COME TALK TO ME. Don't back door me. That is bullshit. When you act like that, then I KNOW not to trust you. This sort of thing has happened to me once or twice before, that I am aware of. Of course it could have been a lot more before I finally learned how to use what I have and "see". I have learned that I can see spirits once in a while, too. I can't make it happen on demand. It happens when IT wants to. I don't have any control, YET. I'm working on it. Sometimes it happens at the MOST inopportune times. And sometimes I wish it DIDN'T happen at all. I almost always see them ONLY in the peripheral vision. Only a few times have I seen one head on. The only way I can do that is to focus on blank space BETWEEN me and the entity. IF I look just right, suddenly the image will pop out like one of those visual posters that just look like dots until you stare at it long enough. The shapes that make up the face and the face itself, will pop out and be in 3D. But you won't see color. Try to imagine your buddy holding up a piece of really shiny, thin foil, drawn real taunt. The another buddy presses his face into the foil from behind, out toward you. And this foil is so thin that it shows EVERY little line and feature of his face, but all you can see besides that is foil, and your reflection looking back at you in it. Well, now imagine that foil is invisible. So you will see the "face" in dimension but it will be invisible. I don't know any other way to describe what I see. Anyway, this is how I have seen spirits. They seem to know that I can do this. I also understand that this is one of the most difficult ways for them to come through. It uses a lot of energy. Well enough craziness for one night..... A couple interesting things happened today at work. Both happened within 20 minutes of quitting time. A fellow I know, who was a witness to the Kokomo Boom, approached me and told me that he thought the military was getting busy in the skies above his part of the world out there on the southwest side of town. He said he's seen flashes and OBOL's and heard multiple explosions, or "reports", as he also referred to them. He thought he saw as many as 30 in the sky, at one point. And that the events lasted about 10 or 15 minutes at a time, I gave him my phone number and asked him to call me the next time he sees them.. I will come with my camcorder and videotape it. Another fella stopped me at the time clock this evening. He said he had a photo he thought I would like to see. He said something about a woman at work who bought a new camera and was taking pictures of her husband while they were on the front porch. They live in the country and were just goofing around. In one of the shots is a white ball of light shows up in the sky near his head and there is also a face near his head! I can't wait to see this.. If I can get him to rip me a copy onto my zip drive, and permission to post it, I will, if it's interesting. I will probably also forward it to Stewart at MUFON and see what he can find out about it. I think it's AWESOME that the people at work who do know my interests and that I am an investigator of UFO's and paranormal stuff, aren't making fun of me and ridiculing me like they probably would have just a few years ago.. Now, they are pulling me aside and dying to tell me THEIR stories! I LOVE it! The weather is going to be awesome tomorrow night so I and charging up the camcorders and plan to sit out all night, well as least as long as I can stay awake! If there's something out there to see, I'm GONNA see it! And I'll videotape it so you can see it, too! CUL8TR! _______________________________________________________ August 5, 2008 11:20 PM So much is happening in the world right now. UFO sightings all over the place. The Pope says it's okay to believe in aliens. A beloved Icon of American history comes out and says UFO's are real and they're here. And someone even bigger backs him up. (HOW COME you aren't hearing this on the nightly news?) They found water on MARS and now they have discovered what may be the highly oxidizing chemical called perchlorate, a common component of rocket fuels, explosives and some medicines. Wonder what they are gonna find next? Wonder how much of the truth we will actually hear? The U.S. government has gone to hell in a hand-basket. (But that's ANOTHER BLOG! :-) ) The economy is worse than it has ever been. Food and gas prices up, home values hitting the skids. The environment has gone crazy. Earthquakes are WAY up. Tsunamis, Super Hurricanes, severe weather extremes. Floods and droughts. tornadoes and blizzards. The Arctic ice shelf is melting for Christ's sake. It doesn't take a psychic to realize we are walking on the edge. And yet so many refuse to see what is right before their eyes! SO many so blinded! So SAD. WE have forgotten SO much. WAKE UP. PLEASE. At work I splice my reels, clean my printer stencil and record all my numbers every hour. As I sit and watch the machines, the rhythmic hum of said machines, lulls me into some kind of altered state and in that state, I remember things. This has been on my mind now for a few weeks and it is getting stronger each day. I want to share it with you. Now remember, I do not claim that I have any answers or that I know for a fact that everything I feel should be taken at face value. I have no idea if I am receiving/remembering things as they are or if my mind has molded something else into something I can understand. I don't know. So take it for what it is worth to you and leave the rest for someone else to ponder. Many years ago, I was feeling something huge. I tried as best I could to get anyone who would listen to me, to listen to me.. At the time, I wasn't even sure I knew what I was talking about so I had a hard time explaining it to others. I would often say I wished I could just crawl into other peoples heads and make them "know" what I "know". I know I can't do that (right now, anyway! LOL) I know that this knowledge has to be sought out and experienced to be "learned" properly. I know that it won't mean anything to anyone who hasn't earned it for themselves. All I knew was something was going to happen, several things were going to happen, to ALL of us, that would change life here, as we know it. It will change how we think about money, about daily life, about each other. It will change ALL our priorities and how we think about religion, spirituality, AND HOW WE THINK ABOUT OURSELVES. NOTHING will ever be the same. Old rules will become meaningless. Money, worthless. Time and skill will become the currency of choice. Now, that isn't to say that it will be all bad.. But for some who can't accept change, who can't adapt to changing situations, WHO REFUSE TO OPEN THIER EYES, THIER MINDS AND THEIR HEARTS to new things, new experiences, new life forms, for those who refuse to let go of things that no longer matter, it WILL be bad. I couldn't put my finger on it then. Couldn't tell what it was gonna be or when it was gonna be but I knew it was coming. I could feel it. I remember it. I remember seeing it. I remember being taught it. Someone told me, showed me. But I couldn't remember who, what, when, where or how. All I knew was that it was in me. Maybe even programmed into me before I was even born. I don't know.... Whatever I was feeling, I knew that at least half of the inhabitants of this planet were not going to make it through whatever it was that was going to propel us to the next level. Twenty years later, I can say that it is becoming more and more clear that whatever I was feeling, is very close at hand now. And WILL happen in my lifetime. As a matter of fact, the process has already begun. I can feel it coming up from the earth, through my feet and up my legs and into my body. I feel some kind of energy, some kind of vibration. I feel acceleration. I feel accelerated myself. I feel some kind of vibe that sometimes really gets me. All of a sudden it will feel as if the top of my head is going to lift right off and the world feels like it is moving in slow motion for a few second. I have to hold on to something till it passes. And it isn't a dizzy spell. At least not like one I have ever had before. It's like the air pressure changes rapidly and I am some kind of biological barometer. Sometimes I feel as if I am about to get knocked off my feet, it is so strong. (and yeah, I have had a checkup lately and I am in great health! LOL) We HAVE gone past the point of no return with regard to the condition of this planet. Some damage has been done that will never be corrected. This must be acknowledged and accepted before suitable alternatives can be conceived. For me, it becomes hard to say which will come first or be worse, but in the big picture I don't suppose it really matters much now. There will be MANY MORE earthquakes. One in the center of the North American Continent will be bad. And there will be a big one in Alaska. and a HUGE one in Argentina. From this will spring disease, Mutations will accelerate. I see much of this coming to fruition by the time the first snow flake flies. But before that, there will be another major disaster that will stretch the entire country's resources to it's absolute limits. In part, due to that strain, the socioeconomic systems we have built around ourselves, build our entire existence on, are going to collapse. And this will result in chaos of every kind because we have forgotten how to live without some else telling us what to do. This will have a domino effect around the world and there will not be any form of government that will survive. And it gets really ugly... Humans, as a species, are due fo,r and about to face, a massive die-off. (The gene pool is about to get a much needed, massive dose of chlorine.) And those who are left will experience a HUGE forward surge in the evolution of the species. At first glance, it will appear as if we have fallen backwards in time by several thousand years. But actually we will have made a grand leap forward into the next generation of Human Beings. And we will be a new and improved model, more tuned in to our environment and with full knowledge of who we really are and what we are capable of. The degeneration will be arrested before we become totally extinct. Success! But like I said before, most of us won't make it. This is just my feeling, my random thought process put down on paper for all the world to share.. Doesn't mean it's FACT. It's just my opinion. So, listen up kids, maybe it's time to buckle your seat belts and put your tray tables back in their upright positions. We're about to take off and it might be a bumpy flight. Hope I am way wrong... Now on to something else.... please..... I find it curious that more and more people from my past, people who were with me at the beginning of this journey, are coming back into my life once again! That is so exciting for me! I feel stronger because of it. These people meant a lot to me then and still do. They supported me at a pivotal time in my life. I initiated a couple of these reunions. But nearly all of them happened spontaneously over the last few months. And I am overjoyed by it. It tells me that I am on the right tract. I am where I am supposed to be, doing what I am supposed to be doing, and I am being prepared for another defining moment in my journey. I'm glad you are all coming along for the ride! Until next time..... _______________________________________________________ August 3, 2008 10:49 PM I have been really busy these past few days, working on the Indiana MUFON Fall Symposium. I have been making video CD's, editing audio clips down to manageable sizes, gathering up jpegs of the 2008 sighting reports from around the world. I also need to put some thought into how I am going to introduce my buddy Jason Baker from MRIPA. He is going to be our guest speaker. I am excited about the whole thing. I still need to hit up the Sam's club and pick up the coffee supplies. I even baked some zucchini bread that I am going to serve up as a treat! Crystal is going to do some baking, as well, so there should be plenty to snack on. After the meeting some of us are going to travel up to Glen and Crystal's place, in Peru, for a BBQ, bon fire, sky watch birthday celebration for Jerry Sievers, our State Director. That will be a good time for all! MRIPA came to the house and set up all their neat equipment all over my house, to see if we could capture anything. I am dying to know if Jason has gone over any of the evidence they took home with them: 30 hours of In-fared camera footage and digital audio. I listened to the little recordings I made and I didn't hear any voices, BUT there was a strange electronic sound that would appear on the digital audio every time the K-II meter went off. I have forwarded that to Jason for further investigation. Also, while watching the monitors, Jason and some of the other team members observed the camera that was aimed at our late bass guitar players chair, was picked up and turned at a 90 degree angle, so that it no longer faced Jim's chair but now a book shelf. That would be like Jim to NOT want to be photographed! :-) Also, while watching the video feed monitors, another anomaly was possibly observed. This time it was in the guest bedroom upstairs, where my grand daughter and I sleep when she comes to visit. Two team members were sitting on the floor in that room, in the dark and there was an in-fared camera aimed at the windows. You could barely see Amber's head at the bottom of the screen. At some point, a small, white ball of light appears in the center of the room and begins to "swim" toward Amber's head. It had a tail and it moved like a snake or tadpole! That was pretty strange. When it was just about to Amber, it disintegrated. THAT was weird. Like I said, I am dying to know if anything else was found. When I find out, and Jason has everything up on the MRIPA website, I will post the link for you so you can check it out for yourself. This past week, I noticed a strange mark on my left hand. IT was on the side of my hand under my thumb. Three dots, tiny breaks in my skin, formed a triangle. Strange enough. The NEXT day I noticed there was ANOTHER triangle on my hand, exactly one inch from the old one and just a tiny bit bigger! I actually measured these things and found out that on the bigger one, the length of 2 sides was each 1 cm and the bottom length was 08 cm. One the smaller one, 2 sides were .8 cm and the bottom was .6 cm. And the distance from the upper right corner and the lower left corner of the two triangles was exactly one inch. What kind of bug can bite like this? It doesn't itch or burn and there are no bumps. I took a photo of them so you can check them out for yourself. I guess I will just put this in the, "Oh well, more strange crap for the ' I'll never figure it out' file". Charlie Cook from the Discovery Channel called me the other day while I was at work. He asked if I would be interested in helping out with a possible new program about abductions. I hesitated at first. I asked him who ratted me out.. as I had kept my identity on the D.L. during the whole Kokomo Boom thing. I felt it was more important for everyone to focus on the present, and now something that happened 25 years ago. Glen, my partner in crime, was the one, I am told, who 'outed' me! LOL! Oh well, what will be will be. Eventually, I told Charlie that I would help them. I briefly thought about how I would react if everyone at work suddenly knew about my experiences or my family or my history with the phenomena. After giving it some thought, I figure most of them already know I am interested in all that and investigate it and am in MUFON AND MRIPA and they don't seem to give it much thought. I am sure there has been the occasional snicker behind my back but I don't really care about that. What concerned me was someone who might think I am satanic or something and do something crazy to me. There are a lot of crazy people where I work. Once again, I believe whatever is meant to be will be so I am going with whatever opportunities the Universe wants to send my way. Deb _______________________________________________________ July 22, 2008 10:00 PM I have really been busy these past few weeks so sorry for the long delay in blogging. It started off with a crisis at work which required me to work 124 hours in 2 weeks. I am too old to do that too many times but the paycheck was sweet. And I was soon on a jet plane headed down to sunny Florida for a week of solitude, sea air and sand between my toes. JUST what the doctor ordered! It was so nice that part of me wanted to stay forever. I don't even think I looked up at the sky once, except to dodge the occasional lightning bolt! I did get to see some dear old friends that I hadn't seen for a while. THAT was WONDERFUL! If you guys are reading this, I LOVE YOU ALL! Just prior to my vacation, I travelled to Chicago with my MUFON pals, to check out the MUFON symposium that was held there this past June. I took some mental notes on things we could do at our own symposium which is going to be held here in Kokomo, on August 16th, 2008. While there, I had the pleasure of reconnecting with an old friend, Donald Schmitt. I hadn't seen him or spoke to him in probably 15 years. He looked great and his lecture was interesting. He talked on his research into the Roswell crash. Always intriguing stuff. We also talked about the possibility of me speaking in Las Vegas next year. I think that would be awesome. The last time I was speaking in Vegas about UFO's I left the stage and got married an hour later! (to my late husband, K.O. Learner) We also talked about possibilities concerning my book, "Abducted! The Story of the Intruders Continues" . I would like to find someone to help me write a screenplay for it and show me how to present it to a producer for consideration. Movie, TV show, whatever.. I just want to get it out there. I feel there was a bigger reason for that book. People just don't write a book in 6 months and sell it to a publisher the first couple weeks out of the gate. That just doesn't happen. Therefore, I believe there is a reason why it happened like that. And I know this book would make a GREAT movie. Even a series wouldn't be out of the question. There certainly is enough material in the book to last for several seasons, and for every event I wrote about, there are 2 more that didn't make the cut. I have had 2 people who claim to be mediums, or psychics, if you will, tell me that a book I wrote will be made into a movie. I really hope that happens some day. I feel it is important. Also, my job seems to be on even shakier ground, these days. Aren't we all struggling? It's crazy. The company I work for filed for bankruptcy more than 2 years ago and have yet to find the financing to emerge. They are slowly whittling away at the foundation of the company. I am relatively low on the totem pole, seniority wise, and after the last communication from the vice president, it looks as if I will possibly be unemployed by the end of this year or early next year. Mom always said one door has to close before another can open. Perhaps this is closing the door on the last part of my life and opening the next one, freeing me to write. A screenplay? Or even another book? I have one in me. I can feel it. I have not had time to write a blog, let alone a book. But perhaps after the end of this year, there will be plenty of time. But I do need an income so hopefully, something will come of the screenplay.. Lots of things whirling around in my head right now. I'm gonna just try to relax and let the universe lead me to what I need. It hasn't failed me in 49 years. I have also felt compelled to re-connect with some people from my past. Experiencers like me. Researchers that I once worked with. People that I was, at one time, very close to, shared common experiences with. I feel a VERY strong pull to those people. I have even managed to communicate with a couple of them. I feel this is an important time in the world right now and I feel we need each other. I need them back in my life. I feel stronger with them in my life. They are a part of me. Hopefully the ones (there are several) I am trying to reconnect with will read this and understand what I mean. They know who they are. And I would like to say to them: If we DON 'T wind up reconnecting, please always know that I hold a part of you in my spirit, and I leave a part of me in yours, for all time. This will NEVER be forgotten. Haven't seen any OBOL's lately. Maybe they all left town for England! How about those videos of the floating balls in England? Either I am getting old and more gullible or CGI is getting REALLY good. Or both, maybe?. Because I think a lot of these look legitimate... Speaking of England, I recently had the pleasure of talking to a fellow named Larry Dean. He lives in England and is writing a book about the phenomena and his experiences with it. I talked to him on the phone the other night and it was an enjoyable conversation. He asked for permission to use a likeness of me and a couple of my photos in his book. Apparently, my case is one he included in his book, as he feels it is one of the top all-time cases out there. He was very kind. I hope to get a copy of his book. I know I take chances when I do stuff like this but so far my gut says this is okay, and my gut very rarely fails me. I will keep you up on the progress of the book as I get it. And perhaps I will be able to make it available to my readers for purchase, some time in the future. M.R.I.P.A. is coming up here to do an investigation this Saturday! I am REALLY excited to get to see all them again, AND excited to see if we can capture anything here. There has been lots of paranormal activity in this house of mine over the years. This will be an opportunity to show the world some solid proof of it, if that is what is meant to be. And besides, I think some of what goes on here is because of my friends who have passed, as well as my late parent's and my late husband. It would be GREAT to have a chance to communicate with them if only for one more time.. until we meet again.. On a totally NON paranormal related note: I visited my bariatric surgeon yesterday. She assured me I am on track and doing great. I had lap band surgery December 26th 2007 and to date I have lost 60 pounds. 40 more to go. For those of you who are familiar with me, or have see me lecture, I have battled a weight problem my entire life. After a crisis with my back that left me in using a cane and wheelchair for 3 month, and 5 hours of micro laser surgery to repair some stuff, I decided it was time to get rid of the weight once and for all and save my back. I never want to experience that period in my life, ever again. The pain was spirit breaking and it felt as if my life had been ripped from me. Since both the surgery and the weight loss, I feel healthier and stronger than ever. And for the first time in my life, I feel like there isn't anything I can't accomplish! Physically AND mentally. If you struggle with these issues, I HIGHLY recommend the band. IT changed my life. And if you want to ask me anything about the band, please feel free to! I am here to serve! On that note... Deb _______________________________________________________ June 29, 2008 8:00 PM 06/30/08 I cannot believe it has been TWENTY-FIVE years since the experience that propelling me into all this and changed me forever! I am getting OLD people! But I supposed the alternative isn't an option right now, so I am not complaining! So much has changed in 25 years. Minds are wider open than ever before. And yet the media is just as bad as it always was, if not worse. It used to be that they would occasionally report some strange sighting, but the reporters had a hard time not snickering throughout the entire broadcast. Now they will, begrudgingly report on some more visible events, such as the Chicago, O'Hare event or the Stephenville, Texas sightings. BUT they STILL ignore some really good, interesting stuff and when they do report they add their own twist to the story, in an attempt to sell an ad or two in the process. They also fail to mention some of the most compelling evidence. Over the years, I have come to realize that I can't trust most of what I hear in the mainstream media, whether it be paranormal related or not. The media is just a mouthpiece for the evil doers that run this country. 25 years ago you would have NEVER seen an alien face anywhere else but at a UFO conference. Now they are EVERYWHERE! Kids wear them on T-shirts, carry lunch boxes with them and they appear in a wide variety of commercials and printed ads around the world. Their appearance in this genre has become widely accepted and no one gives it a second thought. I can't help but think we are being conditioned to accept this visual. If their appearance becomes familiar to us, we are less likely to fear them or FIGHT them. 25 years ago, if you mentioned you were interested in paranormal stuff, or had seen a UFO, you were automatically assumed to be nuts. Now everyone wants to pick your brain and everyone has their own story they want to share! I'm loving that! But unfortunately, we are really not any closer to an answer than we were 25 years ago. I have seem names and faces come and go but the story is always the same. For every report, there are a dozen theories and with every answer comes a dozen new questions. I am living for the day when the question will stop being, "Are they real?" , and becomes, "Who are they, where are they from and what do they want?" I really feel that day is close at hand. That is why I have come back to the public view after 10 years of laying low. It's TIME. I have grown a lot in 25 years, and I have come to accept the fact that it is my destiny to be involved in this whole field. I didn't want to believe that, in the beginning. Now I embrace it. CHEERS! _______________________________________________________ June 9, 2008 7:00 PM Last night, (06/08/08) I was out watching the sky, way out in the country, on a farm, with one of our witnesses (and my new friend, Diane.) Last night was ideal weather for skywatching. It was clear as a bell and there was a cool breeze that kept all the bugs at bay. Not one mosquito bite all night! We had our glasses of tea and just sat by the road in lawn chairs. I didn't get home till about 1 AM. Sometime around 10:30 P.M. we started seeing lots of jet activity. We saw no less than 25 military jet aircraft and we also saw something I found to be rather strange. Clusters of what I first thought were military jets would gather in an area directly in front of us. Then they would start to swarm around a central location, not unlike the way it looks when bugs swarm around a lamp post. I have NEVER seen any aircraft fly like that! At one point I bet there were 20 of them in one spot. Dave was on the phone with me and he could see them as well. He said he counted 30 aircraft in the air in the same area during a 20 minute span. This was BIZARRE!!! He made some comment about how jet fuel must be really cheap right now for them to be wasting so much of it on whatever they were doing. Also, something else occurred. At the time I assume it was heat lightning now I am not so sure. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, but the sky kept lighting up with a soft all-over flash, I bet Diane and I were "flashed" 25 times! It started happening about an hour after we started watching and ended after about an hour. That, too, was BIZARRE! It was a flash that lit up the entire sky directly overhead of us. I have seen heat lightening before but it didn't act like that and there were always clouds on the horizon when I used to see it when I was younger. (I haven't seen it for years.) Also we kept seeing what looked like small horizontal streaks in the sky in the same area that the clusters of strobes would swarm around. That was REALLY BIZARRE! IT was a strange night I must say. And I don't recall seeing one single OBOL! That is what I USUALLY see around here. About the time I arrived at Diane's place, Dave called me to tell me that he had just come in from outside and had witnessed AND photographed the illusive silver cylinder that has been reported here recently. So I got off the phone and called Glen. While I was on the phone to him, he reported that he and his wife could see a lot of activity coming out of Grissom Airbase. That the sky was full of "fireflies". (They live just North of Grissom and I live about 10 miles south of Grissom. Within 20 minutes, we started seeing the first of these aircraft approaching from the north. About 30 minutes after that we started seeing a huge influx of aircraft come into the area from the SOUTH. That was something new. Perhaps they were from the reserve base south of Indy? Anyway we continued to watch this activity all the way up until I finally had to leave, around 1:00 AM. The only other time I have ever seem that many aircraft in the sky in one place for that long was the night of April 16th, 2008. Why were they flying around for that long, that late at night? And over populated areas. And what was that flashing stuff? Did they know about the silver cylinder that my husband saw and photographed? Seems like they are came flooding in shortly after he was that craft fly by at a tremendous speed. It isn't over yet, guys! Here's the Wikipedia for "heat lightning" There were NO clouds in the sky AND the flashes were NOT on the horizon, they were directly over our heads. Does our report sound like heat lightning to you? I'm just sayin'.... "Heat lightning is a misnomer for the faint flashes of lightning on the horizon or other clouds from distant thunderstorms that do not have accompanying sounds of thunder. Heat lightning was named because it often occurs on hot summer nights, and to distinguish it from lightning with accompanying thunder. Heat lightning can be an early warning sign that thunderstorms are approaching. In Florida, heat lightning is often seen out over the water at night, the remnants of storms that formed during the day along a sea breeze front coming in from the opposite coast. There are two possible reasons for the lack of thunder. In some cases, the thunderstorm may be too distant to hear the associated thunder from the lightning discharge. Thunder rarely travels more than 10 miles. Other cases can be explained by the refraction of sound by bodies of air with different densities. An observer may see nearby lightning, but the sound from the discharge is refracted over his head by a change in the temperature, and therefore the density, of the air around him. As a result, the lightning discharge seems to be silent. Under optimum conditions the most intense thunderstorms can be seen at up to 100 miles (161 km) or more distant over flat terrain or water when the clouds are illuminated by large lightning discharges, though an upper limit of 30-50 (48-80 km) miles is more common due to topography, items on the horizon like trees and so on, the fact that local visibilities above 25 miles (40 km) are uncommon in most areas, and other low and mid level clouds. Variability of anvil height also contributes -- 45 000 feet (13 715 m) is very common in the mid latitudes for warm season thunderstorms but the range can be from 35 000 (10 665 m) to a current record of 78 000 feet (23 770 m) There is evidence that suggests some cases of heat lightning are, in fact, slow, diffuse discharges of electricity. Silent lightning also occurs where airborne matter muffles the thunder, such as heavy snow in winter storms (thundersnow) and dust and sand storms. In some instances heavy falling snow has silenced thunder from cloud to ground lightning strokes as close as one to two miles (1.6 to 3.2 km) from the observer and severe dust storms are even more effective in many cases." Also: The UFO Hunters from the History Channel came out to the house today to film me talking about what I saw the night of 4/16/2008. They seemed like nice guys. I got to meet Bill Birnes, one of the stars of UFO Hunters and the one of the authors of the book, "The Day After Roswell" (with Col. Philip J. Corso, (Ret)). (He signed my copy of his book with a really nice inscription.. na na na nanna na.. :-) ) Today they were on WWKI radio station's morning show, "Male Call" and took calls from people who had been witness to the night of 4/016/08 and also people who had seen lots of other stuff around here. There has been quite a lot of activity here since January of this year. They have rented an office in downtown Kokomo and plan to be here for the entire week. If any of you out there reading this, who live in Kokomo, and have something they would like to tell the UFO Hunters, you can contact them at 101 N. Buckeye Street. They are in the purple building across from the Square. I will be sure to let you all know when the show will air, along with the other show that the Discovery Channel is doing on the Kokomo Boom. Dave and I have also had a few other sightings around here that I will tell you about now. The date was May 27, 2008 and the time for that was 10:15 P.M. My youngest boy called to tell us he had seen a silver cylindrical shaped object surrounded by multi colored lights ZOOM across the sky from North to South very low in altitude, way below the heavy cloud cover that night, and moving at a terrific rate of speed. He had been sitting outside in his cab, waiting on a fare and it flew directly over his cab. He said it was VERY large and that if he had to gauge it with something he would have said that it was as large and his entire thumb from tip to palm held at arm's length. (THAT'S BIG, folks!) He said the lights around the edge of it were red, green, blue, yellow and white. Dave and I jumped in the SUV and took off in the direction of the city, camera in hand, on and ready to shoot. We didn't see a DAMNED thing! We drove around for about 30 minutes and finally gave up. It was getting late and gas is too expensive! As we pulled into our driveway, I immediately spotted the familiar orange glow of an OBOL hovering RIGHT over the field just to the east and slightly north of our house! A totally NEW direction for one of these.. I have always seen them in the west, northwestern sky. It was HUGE and unmistakable. At arms length, it was approximately the size of a baby aspirin and was approximately 55 degrees above the horizon. (A little higher than usual, also) The time was 10:45 PM I managed to get ONE shot at it before it disappeared. And you can actually see it, despite my crummy skills at photographing this stuff! LOL! Adding to the mystery, we noted that while we watched this thing, we started hearing a jet coming in toward us from the north. As the jet began to approach our vicinity, the OBOL abruptly rose straight up and disappeared into a low hanging cloud bank, in an apparent attempt to hide from the jet. How CRAZY is that!!?? We finally got the go ahead from Jerry to have the fall Symposium for MUFON in Kokomo. I am really glad. There has been so much activity here and so many people are looking upward now, that I have a feeling we are gonna have a packed house at this meeting and also hopefully will be able to pick up a few new investigator trainees. We could sure use some help up here! I got elected to procure the facilities and I got us a REALLY nice room at the Howard County South Branch Library. It's a VERY nice, pretty, new facility and we will have plenty of room to spread our wings! And my fearless leader at MRIPA, the paranormal investigating group I am also a member of and investigator for, is going to be our guest speaker. MRIPA is going to be our "go to" group when we need a little extra help with certain cases that include some paranormal activity. Their expertise in that field, their high standards and their really neat equipment is really going to be a great asset to MUFON researchers here. Way to go Jason, for being so open to this and willing to team up for the greater good! And way to go Jerry for your progressive forward thinking! These two guys are really the cream of the crop! Well, there you have it. Sorry I haven't updated for a few weeks,. It has just been crazy here with all that is going on and trying to keep up with everyday life. I was temporarily laid off as of Friday, so I will have a few weeks to catch up and hopefully do some more blogging. _______________________________________________________ May 23, 2008 1:00:00 AM Wow! I'm so tired. The last few days have been a blur. The Discovery Channel has been out here, filming witnesses to the Kokomo Boom. Glen Means (my MUFON State Section Director) and I have been helping them by sharing our casebooks with them, WITH our respondents' permission, of course. There are many who wish to remain anonymous and we respect that request at all times. Fortunately, there were many who were more than willing to help out. It has been a long time since I have been in front of a camera. I forgot how nerve-wracking it can be. I hope I didn't suck too bad! LOL! I did the best I could in relating what I saw that night, as well telling the crew about my cases. It is MUCH more comfortable being in front of the camera while talking about someone else's case, I must say. I can remember talking about my family stuff on air and feeling so embarrassed. Of course, I should not have ever felt embarrassed to talk about what I saw, but society was a bit different than it is now. I am finding that the subject is much more acceptable than it was, even just 10 years ago. I'm very happy about that. Obviously I think this is important stuff and MUST be looked into further. I am noticing some incredible syncronicities. Considering that I don't believe in chance, all these "coincidences" lead me to think I am right where I need to be, doing exactly what I should be doing, right now. More than once, I have found myself walking into an interview and realizing I have known the subject for years! I have been working side by side with one fellow for the last 2 years. A young man named Jared Davis was my first subject. I had been talking to him for a few weeks, visiting him at his home and when I went back to his house to work with the film crew from Discovery Channel, I discover (no pun intended :-) ) that Jared's mother is someone I have worked with at one of my jobs and with whom I had taken a few classes. The History Channel is going to be coming out here mid-June to do the same thing that the Discovery Channel did, I know the Discovery Channel show should air sometime in September. I will be sure to post the exact date and time as soon as I get it. It seemed as if they did a pretty good job of gather the best evidence and I am hoping they do a decent job of editing. I asked that they forgo the hokey, spook music. I hate that stuff. I think it is disrespectful to all the good, honest people who took a risk and came forward to tell their story. Something extraordinary happened here and the story we got was not the WHOLE story. I will be doing another Podcast. This one is going to be for Eerie Radio. I'm going to be doing it on June 22 but I don't know when it will be up for grabs. I will let you know as soon as I can. I got to go on my first investigation with MRIPA on the 17th of May. We went to Okie Pinokie, to the north of here. It is supposed to be haunted with the spirit of a young girl named Stephanie who was murdered there long ago by Satan worshipers. It's also supposed to be on Native American holy ground and close to a Civil War battlefield. To be honest, I didn't really get much of a feeling about this area. I DID hear a low moan in the woods as we were sweeping the perimeter with our EMF meter and thermometer. I had a digital voice recorder going and people were taking photos but we didn't capture the voice. I am told they did get an EVP of a little girl talking but I haven't heard it yet. And possibly a strange photo or two with lights. I will update when I know more. But I can tell you I didn't capture anything with my stuff. I was really impressed with MRIPA's equipment. Jason had a really nice tent that we used as our home base. The tent came in REAL handy when a heavy rain storm came! Also, we had some guest investigators with us that night. Folks from OPI located in Kentucky were there to assist and train. It was a really good turnout of investigators. Unfortunately the weather turned ugly and we had to break camp early. There are already plans to go back. Afterwards, we converged on the local White Castle to talk about what we had found and to make plans for the future. I got to bed at about 2:30 AM which was a lot earlier than originally planned. It was a really fun night for me and I was really happy to meet all the nice people. I really like all of them and feel very comfortable with them all, including the people from OPI. It felt like I had known them my whole life! They accept the UFO stuff about me and don't even bat an eye at any of it. As a matter of fact, I think they like the diversity that I bring to the group because, after all, UFOS are just another piece of the paranormal puzzle. Funny thing.. The witnesses I am interviewing with MUFON and the paranormal ghost hunters I am working with at MRIPA and OPI are talking about the same kind of stuff. Just more validation for me. I have been so busy the last few weeks, with MUFON and MRIPA and all the stuff going on with them, that I haven't had time to breathe! I am really looking forward to this 4 day weekend! It couldn't come at a better time for me! It's 12:45 in the morning and I am so tired that I can hardly keep my eyes open. Thank God I can sleep in a little tomorrow. (That could be dangerous.. hehe) Something big is going on. I am not sure what it is but it is BIG. I have been pondering it for months, trying to figure out if it is a personal psychic moment. Sometimes I have those psychic moments where I actually can sense something is about to happen and then something does happen. Or if this is bigger than me. I believe it is the later. I have a feeling something HUGE is about to drop out of the sky onto our heads. Something so outrageous that NO ONE in the whole world will be able to deny anything anymore. And all hell is going to break loose afterwards. I have been having dreams of me fighting battles like some kind of guerilla fighter. But I can't see who or what I am fighting. I had bariatric surgery December 26th, 2007. I had the Lap Band installed. (BEST thing I ever did for myself. The only regret I have is not being able to do this sooner!) I have dropped 50 pounds so far and I am in better shape than I have been in 30 years. (more than half way done!) I'm off all medications and exercising for an hour, 6 nights a week. I had issues with my back and needed to get weight off quickly. And I felt a tremendous need to get my shit together and get fit for the future. I somehow think it is important for me to have as much stamina as possible and to be able to go long periods of time without eating. �Don't ask me why! �I know it sounds crazy. I just feel like something big is happening and it's gonna change the way we think about a lot of things, going to change life as we know it for all time. Not all these changes will be bad, don't get me wrong.. But for some, it will signal the end because they won't be able to cope. They won't be able to wrap their minds around their new paradigm. Sorry if I sound crazy. Frankly, I feel a bit crazy sometimes.. I am getting lots of input on lots of different levels and I am working overtime to sort it all out. If anyone else has been feeling this way, please let me know. There IS strength in numbers. _______________________________________________________ May 4, 2008 12:23:48 AM Here we are, more reports coming in. Baltimore Co. Maryland.. After all these months of people suffering with the blast and flashes of light and all the cops and scientists investigating it, and no national media coverage. The first time the national media broadcasts it, some dude comes forward and claims he's been lighting firecrackers. You mean to tell me some boob can elude all the investigators, police and scientists for months? Firecrackers are really messy. I know. I've played with them many times and gotten in trouble from my dad many times for making such a mess and scarring up the sidewalks. That is a pretty sad commentary on the state of their police force in Baltimore Co. Maryland... I don't buy it. Not for one minute. Not any more than I buy the bullshit excuse the ANG (Air National Guard) gave us here in Kokomo. Their sonic boom bullshit doesn't explain the bright flash of light that flooded my office immediately prior to the explosion. Nor does it explain the many witnesses who also saw the flash of light... or the silver disc shooting skyward with a smoke trail behind it. Or the triangular objects or the multiple balls of orange light that appeared one at a time and disappeared all at once. Flares CAN'T do that. Sonic booms don't flood your room with light. And I still want to see the guy in Phoenix replicate his stunt with the flares and the helium balloons. If he can make them stay in place for that long again, and make them create those geometric patterns, then I will accept his explanation for the event. Then I want him arrested for being a complete moron and endangering the lives of innocent people and thousands of acres of land. Arizona is kindling waiting for a spark and if he really is the one who put that show on, then his gene pool needs a little chlorine. There is a HUGE flap going on in Australia right now. I read about the stuff that happened in Atlantic City, New Jersey on the SAME night as the night of the Kokomo Boom. It sounded VERY much like what we saw here! And they got the EXACT same "explanation" as we did! Christ! When I ran into the bedroom and woke my husband up shouting, "Wake up! Something BIG just happened!" I had no idea just how big it was. And I am getting the feeling that this is only the beginning. I STILL get a cold chill and involuntary goosebumps EVERY time I tell that to someone and repeat those words. I don't act like that. I don't get excited like that. SOMETHING tripped my switch. Something BIG. I was talking to my massage therapist the other day. She had ANOTHER incident where something sounded like it dropped out of the sky and landed on her house. This time she had houses guests and they came into her room and asked her what that sound was. She went outside with a flash light and looked around but couldn't see anything. She told me she has been waking up EVERY night at about 4:30 in the morning. She pops wide awake and jumps out of bed and then can't go back to sleep. She normally doesn't get up till around 8. She feels something is going on. What, she doesn't know. But she knows it's bothering her. She senses something. Like me. One night a few weeks ago, our dogs were all barking at the same time and all looking to the western sky. We live like 10 miles apart so we know the dogs weren't hearing each other. All the dogs here in my neighborhood were howling. Not just mine. And even the inside dog was sitting in the window box seat and starting out the window to the west. What is UP with that?! I got a call this week from a producer from the Discovery Channel. He asked me a bunch of questions about the Kokomo Boom, as it is now know. He told me he was thinking that they might be coming out here sometime in June to film Glen and me and some of the witnesses we interviewed. That would be rather cool. I'm sitting in my office, working on some emails and I can hear a number of jet planes passing over my house.  Sounds like a lot of them are out tonight and a couple of them sounded big.  I haven't gone outside because it is raining.  I had a massage tonight and my therapist started telling me how her dogs stared at the western sky and barked all night long last night.   I was amazed because my dogs did the same damn thing!  They were all huddled over in the northwestern corner of the back fence, staring at the western sky and barking like maniacs.  Even the inside dog, Lucy, was sitting in the window box seat, looking out the western facing windows, yapping like a psycho.  I was about to kill me some dogs!  They were absolutely driving me crazy..  They would not shut up.  They did this for over an hour.  My massage therapist lives due west of me about 8 miles.  I know her dogs didn't hear mine and mine didn't hear hers but they were all carrying on at the same time of night.  I noticed the other dogs in the neighborhood were also going at it.  Something must have been up. I have watched the new video of the latest Phoenix lights and I still don't quite understand how 4 flares tied to helium balloons can hover for that long in the same place and change formation into geometrical patterns.  For those of you who aren't aware, a guy in Arizona has come forward to claim that he is responsible for the lights.  If that is true, I would like for him to reproduce what he did.  I want to see him make those lights stay in one place and make those patterns again.  If he can do that, then I will believe him.  And then I would hope he would be arrested for endangering the wildlife there by creating a potential fire hazard.  What a MORON that guy is, if he actually is the one responsible for this.  And they say I'M crazy!? I haven't heard much else about the lights spotted in St. Augustine, Florida.  Seems to me the more likely an event is to be the real deal, the LESS you hear about it. I am still working on getting more information regarding the night of April 16th, 2008 here in Kokomo.  The "Kokomo Boom".  I have a feeling that we are never going to know what really happened here that night.  All we know for sure is something extraordinary happened and a whole bunch of people witnessed it.  I am still going to be making my evening jaunts out to the park with the video camera in the hopes of one day capturing something on camera.  I know my one video is kinda lame and I apologize.  I have a different camera now and this one seems to work better for me. If I get anything I will get it up here ASAP. As I continue to work on my reports for MUFON and write for my website, I am also looking forward to a May 17th paranormal investigation with M.R.I.P.A.  It's going to be an outdoors event at a local Indian burial ground/ possible Civil War battlefield with a history of paranormal reports.  This is going to be interesting and will be my first outing with M.R.I.P.A.  Look for my report on that.  I have a feeling this is going to be fun, fun, fun! I find it interesting that since I have come out of the woodwork, I have also started having contact with some of my old friends from the past.  These are people that I share a bond with.  Kindred spirits, if you will.  People I haven't talked to in years and all of a sudden we are all coming together again.  Makes me think something is afoot. Until next time.. _______________________________________________________ April 20, 2008 @ 2:22 AM, EDST: I just rejoined MUFON the week before all this happened. I had basically been laying low and staying in hiding for the last 10 years or so. I was really trying to distance myself from the entire phenomena.. IU started feeling the "call" again a few months ago. I had been surfing the web again and getting myself up to speed from 10 years of self-imposed blackout of paranormal information. Recent personal sightings of these orange balls of light had awakened something in me that I had effectively put to sleep for years. I had recently joined a paranormal research group in Indianapolis called MRIPA. (Midwest Researchers and Investigators of Paranormal Activity) And I am planning on focusing on other aspects of paranormal research. I STILL plan to do that but SOMETHING wants me back in the UFO scene.. As always! I can't seem to get away from it no matter how hard I try! Jerry Seivers, State Director of Indiana MUFON, called me one day in March, to invite me to the state MUFON meeting that was to be held in Muncie, in April. Muncie is only about an hour from me. When the meetings were all down in the southern part of the state, it was just too hard for me to get down there. And I really didn't feel like I had anything to say. I had said it all, OVER AND OVER AGAIN for many years. I figured everyone who wanted to hear what I had to say or needed to hear what I had to say, had done so. I hadn't had anything of any significance happen for a long while and I just felt I had nothing else to contribute. That and the fact that I was working for a non-profit, Christian based organization, whom I was certain would never accept this about me and would fire me, was enough to keep me out of the loop for almost 10 years. I needed the job and I needed to focus on other aspects of my life for a while. Over the years, Jerry has invited me to these meetings but I was never able to get to one, until this one. I felt compelled to be there. That kind of compulsion I used to feel when I would do things I couldn't explain, like collect seeds or drive down lonely stretches of road at night, alone.... I had seen these orange balls of light in the sky 3 times in a number of weeks and I was getting a little obsessed with them. I want to know what they are. I NEED to know what they are. I know they aren't flares. Not the ones I have seen. I have seen flares many times and I have even seen some here in Kokomo, but they looked totally different that what I saw on these occasions. (Incidentally, the Indiana Air National Guard felt compelled to put on a deliberate "show" for the whole town, right above the local shopping mall the very next night. Everyone knew it was ANG planes. F-16 "Lawn Darts" Everyone also knew those were flares. I don't know what they were trying to prove by that stunt but I was not impressed.. And frankly, all they did was make it even more obvious to us all that what we saw the night before was NOT them doing what they said they were doing. (Apparently, many other people didn't believe this story, either. See more about this, below**) Anyway, I somehow found myself standing in the thick of it all again, as of the other night. I was obsessing all day about going out to the park later that night to try and record some of these OBOLs in action. I wound up very close to the coordinates that were broadcast over the police scanners as being where they thought the blast had originated (within a mile or so.) What are the odds of that? And later, when I was standing in my driveway, preparing to go in for the night, I couldn't help thinking that I really didn't want to go in because I JUST KNEW I was going to miss something. But I had to get up at 5 am to go to work the next day and I was tired and it was getting late. I had just enough time to get my pajamas on, grab a soda and get seated in my chair in the office when it all started. I don't think it was any coincidence that I decided to come out of hiding and get back to work, because, in my mind, I kept thinking, "it's time" and then all this happens, within days.. I don't believe in coincidences. ** Two nights later when I went back to Jackson Morrow Park, there were a bunch of people there! They were laying on the hoods of their car and in the beds of their pick-up trucks. Some had cameras. The last time I was there, I was there alone. I felt like I was in a scene from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and I am Roy. Except I don't plan on building a mud mountain in my living room anytime soon.. I plan to go back out again, and again- as often as possible, just to look around and see what I can see. I have been driving the back roads of the area and I have come across a couple of adjacent fields with some strange gouges and other marks in them. It could be absolutely nothing. But you never know. I stopped and took some photos. I also plan to take some equipment out there tomorrow to check for EMF. We may never know for sure exactly what happened that night. But my gut tells me there is a lot more to this story. Until tomorrow.... Deb _______________________________________________________ April 15, 2008 9:25 PM I was traveling North on U.S 31 headed toward Kokomo from Indianapolis. I was just about to the Tipton/Howard County line when I saw a very large, bright orange sparkling ball of light in the western sky. (to my left out the car window) As I watch this bright light, another one and then another one popped in on either side of it. The new 2 were not as bright and were a little higher in the sky than the very large one. They kinda formed a triangle pattern in the sky. They were approximately 45 degrees up from the horizon. The larger one was about 35-40 degrees up. The larger one was about the size of 1/2 a baby asprin at arms length. The other two were about half the size of the bigger one. Just as soon as the 3rd one appeared and the three of them made the triangular pattern and kinda looked like they were just bobbing a bit, in sync with each other and floating there, looking all orange and sparkly bright, they popped off one at a time. First the two smaller ones popped out one at a time and then the bigger one just kinda faded into the dark.. The whole thing lasted less than a minute. Funny thing was I was scanning the sky as I traveled down the road and I was JUST thinking it would be a perfect night to see the orange balls of light. And within seconds of having that thought, there they were! Blew me away! I raced home to get my camcorder and went back out to see if I could see them again. I noticed that when I got home ALL the dogs in the neighborhood were HOWLING and making strange noises. And barking like maniacs. (it is now nearly midnight and they are STILL out there barking their lungs out) I did not see anything when I went back out. (I think from now on I won't go anywhere without my camera!) This is the THIRD time I have seen these lights in just a few weeks time. The weather was nice. Sky was clear, lots of stars, temp was 45 degrees. No wind and no moisture. I felt excited. And a little creeped out. Deb _______________________________________________________ March 28, 2008 Time: 9:00 p.m. Weather: Clear with stars Kokomo, Indiana County: Howard I was driving west and as I approached the intersection of U.S. 31 I noticed three bright, orange lights in the western sky in front of me. They were just above the treetops. I first saw one light, then a second one developed and grew brighter. Finally a 3rd one developed and grew brighter. They were approximately the size of a baby aspirin at arms length. They were all steady for a brief moment and then one by one, they each faded into the darkness and disappeared. It happened rather fast, a little less than a minute. I drove to the post office parking lot where I could get a better look. As I drove, keeping my eyes on the spot where I saw them last, I saw one more light flash-on for a second or two and then it faded into the night like someone dimmed the switch. It was VERY odd how it faded into nothingness from this immensely bright light. Just prior to my leaving the home I noticed that my two outside dogs were barking like maniacs at something outside. Even the inside dogs were hysterical. And so were my several pet birds. Now I wonder if it had something to do with these lights as they would have been clearly visible from my house and I know the last time I saw them it was about 7:45 PM. I know they hang around for a while when they show up and I sure would like to know what they are. They are ABSOLUTELY NOT an airplane or anything I have EVER seen before. Deb _______________________________________________________ Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 Driving home from Terri's in Sharpsville. Headed North on 350 East, between Center Road and S.R. 26, I notice two BRIGHT, sparkly orange balls of light in the western sky. I pull over briefly to get a better look. Thy were about the size of a baby aspirin at arms length and they were approximately 35 and 45 degrees above the horizon, one being slightly higher than the other. They appear to be "dancing" around each other. The weather was clear with no wind. The time was 7:45 P.M. About the time I stuck my head out the window to get a closer look, they disappeared. First one and then the other. When I got home, a few minutes later, I felt VERY creeped out as I left the car and went to the house. I almost ducked and I kept looking at the sky. I had a hard time sleeping that night and the dogs barked all night. Even the bird squawked. 2 days later while getting a massage with my therapist, she started telling me about her seeing 3 orange balls of light the same night I did and in the same westerly direction. Only she saw three and I only saw 2 AND her sighting was definitely between 8:30 and 9 PM and mine was definitely 7:45 PM. Whatever we saw, it was hanging around for a long while!
